WANTED Thompson Center Renegade 50 cal with fast twist barrel

Another option would be to get a barrel that needs a little TLC and have it bored and sleeved with whatever twist rate you want. Probably not going to be any cheaper than buying a new barrel or a rare LRH barrel, but you can make it into exactly what you want.

WANTED .54 cal investarms/ cabelas / Lyman stainless sporter

Super easy. The fouling just let's go. About half as much effort as a regular barrel.

CLOSED TC New Englander Shotgun Barrel

Would like to buy or trade for a New Englander shotgun barrel. I would prefer one with the interchangeable choke tubes if possible. It doesn't have to be perfect on the outside, but I prefer the bore be useable. Please PM with what you have. Thanks!

    Re-bore Limits?

It's also going to depend on the size of the breech plug. I just got a barrel back from him that I was going to go up from .50 to .54 and he wasn't able to do it because the breech plug was too small. Ended up getting it sleeved down to .45 with a fast twist. All together it cost me less than...

    Traditions Buckskinner 54 caliber carbine?

I did a quick search through the forum and could not find anything about a Traditions Buckskinner carbine in 54 caliber. At one time I thought I saw one for sale on GunBroker, but I'm not 100% sure. Does anyone here know if Traditions ever made the Buck Skinner carbine in 54 caliber?

    Bobby Hoyt and Traditions/CVA barrels

Well, I just got home to find my barrell sitting in the mailroom. Mr. Hoyt ended up sleeving the barrel down to .450 caliber with a 1:20 twist rate and .009 groove depth for No Excuse conical bullets. I removed the bolster before I sent it to him and the breech plug was timed perfectly so that...

    Pedersoli double flint rifle

I know this is an old thread, but I'm wondering if anyone here has one of these double flintlock rifles. I'd love to hear what your experience is and what size ball do they use.

    Barrel Rebore Question

I just spoke with Mr. Hoyt about this very topic. I just sent him a Traditions barrel (same breech as CVA). I don't think he would have a problem with your barrel. Bobby Hoyt and Traditions/CVA barrels

I have seen people ask about if Bobby Hoyt will do a Traditions or CVA barrel. I just sent Bobby Hoyt the barrel from a Traditions Buckskinner Carbine to have rebored. I spoke with him at length about boring it out and rifling it from 50 to 54 caliber. He told me that he could do it as long as...

FOR SALE Traditions Buckskinner Carbine .50

That's a great deal. If I hadn't already bought one I'd grab it.

    CLOSED Traditions Buckskinner Carbine.

Thank you, but I'm really looking for fast twist for heavy conical bullets. I'm working on a deal right now for a percussion with a 1:20 twist. If that doesn't work out I'll get back to you.
