WANTED Small pen light for bore inspection

I bought a cheap endoscope (less than ten quid) from a well known auction site. 6mm camera produces decent views of the bores. this is the inside of my .577 It has wifi capability so I can view it on my smartphone as well as USB

    Decision to make

Thanks everyone. With luck I’ll get to shoot both, spent a couple of hours yesterday casting. Some .36 ball for my new (used) purchase; and some eras gone which I made into paper cartridges for my ROA. Two hours booked on the range for Sunday morning. But as for deciding which one?🤔

    Navy arms enfield musketoon

I paid about $400 for my PH two Navy two band and consider it a bargain. It shoots better than me!

Replace it with a plaque of your own perhaps? I wouldn’t recommend sanding it.

    Who likes Port wine ?

On a Royal Navy Ship, HMS Antelope, we visited Oporto. I remember going for a tour of Taylors. They looked after us exceptionally well. Funny - I don’t remember leaving......

    Who likes Port wine ?

White port, chilled, a little cheese, home baked crusty bread, excellent whilst watching a setting sun.

    Brass colored nipples????

An Aussie firm sells them - I copied this from theirEBay site <TRESO nipples are made from Ampco, a tough alloy with a tensile strength of 118,000 psi, which is tougher than most steels used in muzzleloading barrels. This material provides more resistance to blows from the hammer, and the high...

Just a show of hands, how many make their own ammution?

Why are four of them hobbled? Are they prone to escape? 😘

Just a show of hands, how many make their own ammution?

You may be able to buy balls, I can’t within 200 miles. Postage being what it is I would be trebling, at least, my cost per bang. Here’s a thought. Club doesn’t, bat doesn’t, racquet doesn’t - but gun rhymes with fun.🤗

    Parker Hale Volunteer lock broken.

I have bee looking, in vain so far, for some (pdf I think) documents with lock diagrams in it’s various forms - this would give you an idea of what piece, if any, is missing. I’ll keep looking. S&S firearms in the states carry a lot of parts too, I bought my .577 PH mould from them. TOW site...

    Pritchett balls

    Me too!

    Pritchett balls

I also find that the base plug is slighlt lose in the mould so I shove a piece of metal under the spout and rest the base plug. This does two things, keeps the both the mould and plug in the same position without effort and introduces some consistency.

    Pritchett balls

Lawrence, If the bullets are frosty, mould too hot. Assuming you are pouring from the base then the mould may not be hot evenly from top to bottom and the lead isn't flowing round the base plug. The base plug needs to be the same temperature as the mould otherwise that,if it is reatively...
