How long was the turn around?

I'm thinking about breaking into flintlocks this year and I've decided it's going to be a pistol. I already have a Pedersoli Harper's Ferry .54 cal percussion and I'm leaning towards the .58 cal flinter, though I've read that the locks can be problematic. Any recommendations or ideas? Thanks

Drams or ounces? Does it matter?

I have a CVA 12 gauge with 20" barrels I got on a trade a few years back. One of the locks is fubar and I just keep it as a wall hanger. I also have a Pedersoli Baker Cavalry which I bought last year from Midway at a discounted price. The general quality is pretty good, but I'm not crazy...

Over the summer and fall, once a week on average. Now with all the snow, every place I shoot is inaccessible. I'll probably still manage to get out a time or two before spring.
