Things I want that the (my) Renegade lacks... Maple stock, double wedges, metal end cap, metal ramrod entry pipe, long tang with screw through wrist to trigger plate. Proper trigger guard, sights, but plate, ect. All but the patch box and flint lock on the bottom rifle. And 54 cal, or 58.

Hi, I'm in the Dallas area too. I got some Goex fff at BP in Grapevine last week. You'll have to go up to the gun counter and ask for it as they keep it locked up in the warehouse somewhere. I've used 777 too, it's ok but the real stuff is better.

Ya....got some in a squeeze bottle ready to go. Bought a yard of pillow tick at the fabric store today. Forgot to take the calipers with me but checked it out when I got home.....right at .018-.019. Seems I read somewhere you should launder this stuff once to remove the starch or sizeing? Maybe...

Got to shoot a little yesterday. GMB-IBS in .50cal for TC Renegade. Pathches @ 50gr. looked good so went up to 60gr. Probaly should have only went to 55gr. Really thought I had something good working after shots #2,3 & 4, then #5 pissed me off so I fired #6 and then #7 & 8 just ruined my day...
