    Beretta!

I would prefer an original myself, not really an option, I'm happy to have my Berretta and able to get out over the other options.

    Beretta!

I'm very happy with my Beretta, got my load for turkey all set, just picked up 2 tins of caps, some wads, got powder. My first black powder shotgun, I guess not really knowing what I'm doing helps.

Alpaca wool socks, killer base layer, cover your head and neck, leave anything cotton home except your patch.

Is the 36 caliber becomming extinct?

I would be thrilled with a flintlock too. I'm subject to caliber restrictions by state law and my smallest BP rifle is a .50.

    Beretta!

I have to think there are well made versions of this shotgun and then some left with issues. I have had 0 issues with mine, only miss fire was caused by a cap not going off. I can run a pipe cleaner into the barrel from the nipple easy.

Is the 36 caliber becomming extinct?

If someone were to offer an affordable .32/.36 caliber rifle they would become more popular. For the most part, we have priced newcomers out of the traditional market.

A group buy of black powder ?

I have done a few of the group buys, no issues, I would be interested in another one, spring turkey season is coming up.

    Rod diameter question

I use my ram rods all the time, I thought that's why they were there.

Is the 36 caliber becomming extinct?

Seems to me based on the wanted ads, .36-.32 caliber are in demand. I would like one, state laws require that caliber for small game.

    Connecticut muzzleloaders

It's kind of sad about NMLRA, I have contacted the rep, asked him to come to our club, called the national office and even volunteered to be a rep. Based on the behavior of the local rep and national office, NMLRA has no interest in having a presence in CT, they would like us to send them...

    Beretta!

I haven’t had an issue with ignition on the lower barrel, I think keeping things clean really helps.
