    Small bore rifles ?? Favorite's ?

I'm partial to the 36. Got a 32 but to me it was like shooting a 22. Still a good gun but 36 has a little more umf. Can't say about a 40 but i'm sure it's a good choice also.

Lee .375 .36 cal Mold ,Looks like a Shadow Of A Casting Seam Every Now And Again ??

Hold the mould up to the light. If not closed all the way, some light will show threw. Did you lube the mould? Use lube sparingly so it doesn't get in the cavitied. I use a Qtip. Pulling a round ball

Pull the nipple, add as much powder as you can and shoot it out. May take a couple tries depending on how damp the powder is that is in there now. A good air compesser can blow it out too if you get a grease zirt(gun) that is the same threads. If you use spit patch instead, you can shoot...

    Target Size?

Use as big as you need. I like to keep is small as possible for accuracy sake, but it still has to be big enough to see. I use to use a 4" at 100y but I'm not sure I could see it good enough these days. Been awhile since I shot at 100y with open sights.

It's hard to beat the .45 cal

I started with a 45 Kentucky CVA like many of us have, wanted bigger for hunting moose and elk. Then wanted smaller for economy and eventually went back to 45. Great gun,

    Lee Moulds

I preheat by setting on top the pot or dipping into the lead. I use to smoke but forgot at one point and didn't really notice a difference so I quit all together.

So I’m “making a purse out of a sows ear” or vice versa!

Sounds like 1-48 to me or at least close enough. Should be a good gun when you are finished.

So I’m “making a purse out of a sows ear” or vice versa!

Don't dread it, it's not that hard, just part of the game. A educated guess would be 1-48

    Powder horn ?

I just tilt the horn back and forth a couple times and I can pretty much tell, and by how heavy it is. If there is any doubt, I just top it off.

    Pre-drilled drum and nipple

With shipping cost on a light item and drums aren't that expensive I'd get one of each, try the predrilled and if it doesn't work, use the other.
