When using the circle punch on curler paper , I found it more effective to put the stack of curler paper between two stiffer sheets of paper like old targets etc. I cut them in rectangles the size of the curler paper . If I don’t do it the thin curler paper jams this type of circle punch.

Possible Shop has a similar deal on 1000. They are gray recycled wool or new wool for a bit more.

Yea, the threading isn’t the issue . The cone on the slixshots is a bit longer than the stock nipples but that seems better than being shorter.
