69 Caliber Buck 'n Ball Ammo?

Just measured some of Civil War battlefield buckshot I've metal detected and most were around .330 on average. Smallest was .313, largest was .341. YMMV

Who among us are PIPE smokers?

I placed my Ben Wade in a baggie and put it in the freezer for a couple of hours and the stuck stem came right out. Thanks for the tip fellows :thumb:

I am an idiot. Frustrated to the point of wanting to quit.

That's why I shoot cap locks and just admire my handsome but wall hanging flintlock that I have fired a couple of times. I bought enough caps back when things first started looking bad so I wouldn't have to ever depend on a rock to have some fun. YMMV

    Another shipping war story….

Knew an old guy who became a rural carrier around about 1950 or so. With many, many miles of dirt mountain roads he carried a chain saw and other equipment a man might need in the wild to get thru in any weather. He always drove 3 speed manual transmission Chevy Suburbans and said he replaced...

Wasting your time like that really stinks. They can't blame such incidents on Covid anymore, now it's just pure incompetence and apathy. I get stuff just left in my driveway a lot.

Mineral Oil, Carnuba, and Bees Wax

I gave the stuff a try and like it. I got it to freshen up some old military holsters and it did wonders. The leather flap strap on a 1918 WW1 Luger holster softened up to the point it can run it thru the buckle again. Put it on my 20 year old Harley tool bag flap that was dried from sun...

    Too nice to shoot.

No sour grapes, I was simply making a statement based on an example. The small portfolio loss didn't hurt as much as seeing my beloved GM tank. I was a Chevrolet fan for over 40 years since High School, driving everything from Corvair to Corvette. Still being a Ford stockholder it makes sense to...

    Too nice to shoot.

What's got your panties in a bunch, GM screw you too? I was just making a statement, the Ford stock I purchased at the same time is still viable along with a few others and my guns are just fine.

    Too nice to shoot.

FWIW, I lost money when my GM stock became worthless, I have never had gun become worthless. YMMV

I've got a full one like that but doesn't have DuPont logo on the back.

    A question about pyrodex

If someone already mentioned it sorry, insomnia has me a bit mentally slow this morning but may I suggest a nipple primer with real BP if you're having problems with Pyrodex ignition.

    India Barrel Failure

I saw 9mm ammo imported from India, the price was good but I passed for only slightly higher priced Winchester :thumb: When getting your face and hands near high pressure it's no place to go cheap. JMHO.

    WORST DAY AT THE RANGE!

I'd gone to 35 just for fun and then said, "Whoops, sorry, I must have double charged that one while you were distracting me" ;) But then that's just me being me🤣

WITHDRAWN Navy arms “yank” revolver reduced

Wow, that's an oldie made in 1960, among the first imported. Made by Gregorelli and Uberti.
