For the record, I did everything that the video instructed me to do. The only thing different is I tempered the toe/pivot screw hole area. Thing sparks like the 4th. Gonna order a replacement frizzen just in case.
I watched this video (link below) where by this man after using kasnit on his frizzen, dropped it directly into salty ice water. I would have thought it would be ruined. Has anyone done this where the frizzen survived?
I have a 3yr old Pedersoli Kentucky. It never has sparked very well. Applied casenit and it didn't really help. I would like this to throw a shower of sparks. I would like some recommendations for someone to make this thing do what it's supposed to.
During one of my prospecting forays, I found a decent sized chunk of it. Has anyone ever heard of using it in a rock lock? I figure it would explode like any other glass.
