    English blunderbuss rifle

Yup, the upside-down G with the R the right way round says 'India' to me, and a lot newer than you might imagine.

    1/4 scale 1841 Six Pounder

My workshop space measures four feet by just under two feet. I really don't relate to your problem.

    Percussion gun identification

First thing to do is to get it checked out for safe condition before you even think of putting powder down the barrel.

    Greetings from Gettysburg.

Welcome from East Anglia, UK. Some famous folks live in your town - Brett Gibbons of 'papercartidges' is one of them. He has a number of fascinating articles on YouTube, many about paper cartridges, 'natch, but also the history and usage of arms of the ACW era. His books are ALL worth buying!

Who made this Jordan 1742 Long Land, and where could I find a barrel?

You did not mention that. As the BB and its ilk are smoothbore, it would have been subject to Section 2 of the FA. It's more likely that somebody just wanted a good barrel for their replica.

    Estate sale pistol

I don't think that it's Belgian at all. 'LP' does NOT stand for 'Liége Proof'. The correct proof stamp for a Belgian firearm is EP, ÉPREUVE LIÉGE. And a few other stamps for good measure, too. like a crown over letter/s for the inspector.... No Liége-made arm of this period would have been...

Who made this Jordan 1742 Long Land, and where could I find a barrel?

Firing replicas are most definitely NOT illegal in any part of the four countries of UK. If that were so, then none of us could own ANY replicas that we shoot and I have four. They ARE, however, classed as a Section 1 firearm, same as any modern firearm is - after all, while they do look old...

Who made this Jordan 1742 Long Land, and where could I find a barrel?

I'll be honest and say that I'm at a loss to figure out why a live-firing replica - here in UK classed as a Section 1 firearm - that is LEAVING UK for ever should have its barrel removed. I'd need to know the circumstances under which you bought it from UK in the first place. I've sent...

Now forbidden to send (empty of course) replica powder flask from UK to USA

The OP could have bought an antique - that would probably have been fine.....'antique copper powder dispenser'.

Parker Hale Alexander Henry Target Rifle - Help Wanted

Seventy shots so far with my platinum-lined nipple from Peter Dyson here in UK - no sign of any erosion. Before, using P-H own 'copper-beryllium'-made items, I was getting forty shots or so before there were signs of the cock coming back.... 😲

Parker Hale Alexander Henry Target Rifle - Help Wanted

The Whitworth twist is said to be one in twenty inches. My Pedersoli hex mould throws a perfectly-fitting bullet, but from what I hear, that is entirely down to luck, rather than design. A mould that makes a hexagonal bullet that is even a thou or two oversize is nothing more than an...

Surely you can do scaling and measuring - same as I do when building a model of a rail car of any kind but knowing only one dimension?
