    popular lube?

Spit patches are fine if your standing on the range but shouldn't be considered a real lube. Spit patches dry out, do not protect the powder from excessive moisture on a damp-rainy day, Do not provide lubrication when pulling a ball at the end of the day-hunt -week or month. Try to find a lube...

    Broke my leg

It bites, hit and run shattered my left side and I had to sit out a deer season and was on crutches yet the following year but took a very nice buck. Fely stupid that I had to have others drag it to the truck for me but. Probably shouldn't risk trying to do the sitting in the back of the...

    Pillow ticking stiffness??

I've found two different thicknesses of red stripe sitting side by side on the shelf so color never seems to make a difference.

    Hunting stipulations?

If I only hunted on nice day's I'd probably wouldn't get to hunt much.

    Pillow ticking stiffness??

Walmart carries it also, remember there are at least three to four thicknesses of ticking, I prefer it thin enough so I can fairly easily pull a ball at the end of a hunt or after being loaded for awhile.

    Hunting stipulations?

When hunting grouse or squirrel with my flintrifles I won't take them out of a tree unless I know my ball is going to strike the trunk or another big tree behind it. I keep my deer hunting shots to roughly 75 yards and under. I PRACTICE a lot.

    Gunshow Haul Day 2!!!!

Your Made in the USA CVA barrel is most likely a barrel for a Mountain Rifle, hardly ever see one in .45. Good haul all in all, even worthless barrels can be turned into pipe hawks I imagine.

Thank you sir for keeping it going, I've got one granddaughter almost 5 and grandson 2 that I've already purchased light weight rifles for. Hope it's still legal in a few years.

    Pyrodex Select shelf life

Once the can is open you have roughly 20 minutes to use it up before it turns into another poor substitute for the real thing. lol

When to change touch hole liner?

When the guy shooting on the right of you head erupts in flame you may need a new liner or move to the far right of the line. lol

    Stuck Jag....

You would think but it's surprising how many guns I get in here like this. Pretty sure this is not what you meant but reply's should have some thought put in them.

    Stuck Jag....

Most of the time a gunsmith will charge too much, take 6 months to do a 20 minute job and a person should learn to do this type of thing on their own.

    Stuck Jag....

No nee d to thread it if you get someone to help, one to hold the tip tight and the other to pump.

    Stuck Jag....

Go to a auto parts or farm implement store and get or order a Plews 05-045 grease gun needle nozzle. Attach it to your grease gun ( never hurts to pour a oil or tranny fluid down the barre to lube ahead of time ) Remove nipple if possible, hold grease gun tip tightly to drum or flash-hole if a...

    Stuck Jag....

I've used the grease gun method many times, very easy if one is smarter than a tube of grease.

Well, some of us can barely walk anymore but still enjoy getting out and hunting. Sorry if it's not up to your standards.

Traditional sidelock vs NW legal non-traditional front stuffer

Non traditional would be like sleeping with a dude wearing a dress. Sure it might get the job done but do you really want to go that way.

    Full cock in stand

I've clicked off safeties ( even trying to not make a sound ) and had bucks drop, jump or spin around, same with the creaking of the stand, it really doesn't take much. Around here it seems we have three hunters for every acre of land. I used to hike in a couple miles but eventually the 4...
