Well I went back to the show to check out the CVA .45 barrels the Ol Timer had for $20.

Upon arriving to the table he greeted me with a smile and said he doesnt want to haul any of the BP stuff home. Gave me the lot for $60...

Granted they are in rough lookin shape. The bores look great in all but one and thats cause the battey stops 3"down the barrel lol.

The Tennessee Stock has a DGW .32cal barrel that is untouched.... no dovetails cut.. nothing. No breech plug either. Bore looks great from what I can tell. The stock has some writing where the buttplate goes and overall has nice grain to it. Should come out pretty.

What I thought was a CVA Hawken is not! Any idea?. Barrel says .45 CVA Made in the USA. Ser# 0030657. Bore is nice

CVA barrel #2 I reckon is older. Doesnt have much stamped on it. Barrel ser. #00201 18 (in smaller stamps). Bore is nice

1 Markwell Arms barrel appears ok minus the rust. Barrel see. # 7450

#2 Markwell Arms barrel. Tang is built on barrel just as the 1st barrel just like the rust. Barrel ser. #894 stamped made in Spain

Unknown stock. Probably Traditions Kentucky. Im not sure. Im still learning

So for $60 I wont complain. Wife surely is though 🤣

Any and all info on these greatly appreciated

Your Made in the USA CVA barrel is most likely a barrel for a Mountain Rifle, hardly ever see one in .45. Good haul all in all, even worthless barrels can be turned into pipe hawks I imagine.

Im assuming the .32cal Dixie gun works barrel is a blank. Breech is threaded. Has breech/tang that screws on real nice. Other than that. No dovetails or flash holes or anything. Always wanted a Crockett but not from square one 🤣

Pics of the Stock the DGW .32 barrel was in.

This stock is going to be pretty one day!!!!

Any idea on maker?

Pipe hawks or candle holders. -- Old barrels have many uses; it depends upon your needs and ingenuity. --- I shortened a 35" barrel to 18" and sold the scrap barrel piece for $10.00. The buyer was happy to get it. He said he was building a pistol.
