I shot right out my backdoor 50 yd target, up to about 300 if I leave the porch and my tree stand is a 100 yds or so from the porch and believe it or not I live in New Jersey. I do love my home, but wish it wasn't in NJ.

Golf balls make great file handles, just drill a 1/8 or 3/16 hole in them and tap the file in. They work great and have I think a better feel than a regular handle.

We did that also, you knew when you were dead. Ah how times have changed. LOL

When your lubing a patch with a grease type lube such as mink oil or bore butter. Do you lube just the bore side of the patch or both. I've tried both ways and a have not noticed a difference.

Maybe Trump will deport them back to California. :D

Putting a new barrel together and having old eyes was looking for some advice for rear sight placement and type. Now I use a peep available from TOTW placed in the normal position, should I move this to the breech or maybe try a different sight like a Skinner or something else? Like to have...
