Kibler stocks OK for a lefty?

The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.

    Pedersoli flintlock not cocking

How about a photo of the backside of the lock. What was said about checking for binding, I’d agree with that… Take some lipstick or something like that instead of spending big money on in letting Blue, and just put it on the back and screw it in and take it out and look and see if there’s any...

    Still reading print media?

I don’t miss Smoke & Fire really. Especially after she called me a bunch of names for spring Trump. She’d go to events and get drunk or whatever and send me emails. Uh huh.

    Anyone recognize this rifle?

I don’t think. I can’t see all of it, but the trigger guard is wrong.

    Still reading print media?

I get mMuzzleloader and muzzle blasts plus NRA’s American Rifleman. Muzzleloader isn’t what it was. Pretty photos, but few articles I really like. I have almost all the old back issues and reread them. I understand they try to service everyone. Okay. It just doesn’t work for me. i joined the...

Making a Pattern 1756 Long Land British Musket

You pointed it out to me at Kempton… I haven’t forgotten… it’s in my list to do. It will bug me until I get it done. Trying to calm my life down. That, the fake pin for the butt plate and later a new side plate… Marsh

Patent Breech Investarms Hawken failures to fire

Most don’t care, they just want another way to kill another Bambi. That’s all there is to it. Chester guns like fake powder.

I’d say that’sa goodly part of it.

    Cleaning Kibler Woodsrunner?

There are a million ways to clean a muzzle loader. As you see, they all have their own way and many are adamant on how to do it. Since you’ve done this before, you’re ahead of the game. I’d not remove the barrel if it’s pinned, more than once a year. You can buy one of those clamp things from...

    How often to disassemble lock?

I just take the lock off to clean. Only take apart for repair. Dunk it in hot water with some Dawn. Shoot it with wd40 and later balistol

Seeking Opinions on a Recent Kibler SMR Purchase Experience

I dunno. It’d be hard. They’re pretty monitored. I’m guessing the Russians did it for science and, I think there was a married couple once?!
