Lawdy how I would love to attend and shoot in NSSA. Living on the other end of the country makes that somewhat problematic! Although we DID have a CW engagement here at Glorieta Pass in NM.

Graf, Powder Valley, TOW, just about anything I need.....oh and Kibler's of course! For the tactical tupperware, got WAY too many of them already and bought ammo by the metric ton years ago before it got stupid expensive.

MY GPR had a rough bore. A sub-caliber jag and some pieces of scotchbrite and about twenty minutes going at it and it smoothed out nicely. These are fantastic rifles.

FWIW, back in my single days, I lived in an apartment and was, at that time, an avid RC airplane nut. I built a lot of balsa models in there and made a lot of sanding dust! I just stayed on top of cleanup and put down drop cloths if doing any painting or other drippy work. Never had a problem...

You don't need serious shop equipment to assemble a Kibler kit. Hand tools, some chisels, sand paper, files and a padded bench vise...(clamp to your kitchen table) and some finishing stain or linseed oil. These are almost "in the white" rifles and require little serious work to be made ready...

Build your own bench....MUCH cheaper and more durable and exactly the way you want it...like for height. Some folks need higher or lower to make standing work less tiring on the back. A pattern maker's vise is a MUST. They can position the work precisely where you want it and the silicone...

I do barrels in three sections of heating and PB application. Heat with torch, apply PB, scrub back with wet scotchbrite, repeat heating and daubing on the PB. Repeat, repeat. Turns out great. LMF did nothing for me here in the dry desert. Rigging up humidity chamber and hoping, not for me...

A woodsrunner in a small caliber would be excellent, at least for me. The really long SMR barrel in a small caliber just seems like it would be very front heavy. I like a rifle to balance more to the rear.

Bought one kit from SF. Communications were slow and a bit confusing, but I did get it with everything in the box in good shape. Parts were no better or worse than advertised. There really is no comparison to Kibler's kits. They are unmatched anywhere.

You'll be amazed when you open that Kibler crate. The fit and finish of the parts on that kit will blow your mind. I have a Colonial and a Woodsrunner. They are simply amazing. What part of NM are ya in?
