Do You Actually Use Your Expensive Custom Guns or Keep Them as Safe Queens?

I am 80 and have owned a bunch of guns in my life and I shot every one of them. Some a few times and some of them a lot. I never considered any of them, cheap or expensive, a safe queen.

    Weight sorting cast lead balls.

All my guns shoot well. The limiting factor is my 80 year old eyes. Sad because I remember when I was shooting high power matches and could see a .30 caliber bullet hole on a 300 yd target. Iron sights were my friend back then. Not so much anymore.

For the Want of a Wire Coat Hanger

this thread got me to thinking about the time when I was a boy., about 1960 or so, I used a clothes hanger as a welding rod to weld a bent bolt handle back onto the bold of a 91 mauser. It worked for the ten years I had it after that. Also got me to search my closets for hangers and I found I...

Kibler fowler, a couple of photos,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

When I was a boy I used to assemble plastic models and they were fun to assemble and looked good when finished. If I got a Kibler kit I would assemble it and have fun doing it and it would look good. This would satisfy me. I guess it satisfies a lot of other guys and that's why they get them.

Right hand or left hand shooter? 🤔

I shot long guns right handed for many years until I lost vision in my right eye. Now I shoot them left handed. Being all that, I have always shot with both eyes open regardless of which side I shot or shoot.

Whats your favorite muzzleloader you own?

I don't know about a favorite but I have an emotional attachment to a .54 cal TC that my wife bought me, and her .36 cal Seneca that I got for her years ago . There are several that I like to shoot more than others. A favorite I cannot chose.
