I just found one of those .45 cal. Hopkins & Allen Under-hammer pistols; as new. Anyone know when Numrich Arms stopped making them? I had one back in the 60's with a plastic grip, this one has the Thompson wooden grip. Where can I find some history on them? Mine has a small hand-etched S.N...

Wheel weights aren't pure lead...may be OK for some modern bullets, but not true BP ones.

Yep, those 'Large' barrels are top notch. Still considered highly! Go for 'em! (As long as they're not neglected and corroded or anything....)

These are really cool; but I was amazed to see how large they are, once I saw one in person @ Dixon's. Very historic and interesting, though. Good!
