Call me crazy, but if you zoom in real in pic 2 I think it actually says Balllard. It’s very faint, but that’s what it looks like to me.
 
Absolutely do not try to clean it up any from the condition it is in...Absolutely a bore cleaning, and a careful hoppes and oil cleaning, but do not try to remove the beautiful patina. It would greatly affect its value. In my very unprofessional opinion.
