    Stuck bullet

Most fully machined shop gunsmiths that have been in the business for a number of years have the machinery and tools to do the job, if not they will make the tool. Bore scopes really help, they also think it out before they react, some ask other smiths their opinion if it is a new issue to them...

Ok, what is the best shot/shots you have seen or accomplished?

A number of years ago shortly after buying my T/C .36 Seneca, a friend and I were out ground hog hunting, my T/C and his modern rifle. After some observing of the fields we saw a g-hog up a Mulberry tree having a feast. I felt it too far for me or the gun, so he said let me try with your muzzle...

    Holey balls, batman!!!

WOW once there is a hole through the projectile it is kinda hard to build up pressure to push it out. Might be gunsmith time, unless you have tools and know how to use them

Yes RWS was always thought to be top shelf and expensive, and accurate

I would have thought any one around guns for any length of time at one point would have heard of RWS gun products. :dunno:

Patch Stuck in Breech Plug on CVA Percussion Barrel, Ideas?

The op stated "I cannot blow any air through the nipple". If he did not remove the nipple, maybe it is just a clogged nipple. It is very hard to get any good flow of air through a nipple to blow something out, just a thought.

    Descending aim offhand.

I have had people tell me that this style of shooting can lead to trigger jerk/grab, sight flinching, or shot anticipation with some people, and which seems hard to get over if inflicted. I have seen it more prevalent in hand gun shooting and target archery.

    Very Hard trigger

I would also think that the star/wave washer on sear screw would hinder smooth operation if tightened to much

    Anybody know...

I understand the safety aspect and body parts over muzzle but would you not still have the need for a ram rod to seat your designed projectile.

.45 caliber RB enough for deer?

A few years back in my area there were a number of tree farms were popping up in my area. As a result the deer had to go.They got permission from the state to accomplish this by using professional hunters, i.e. law/game enforcement officers at all hours of the day up until 10:00 pm. The deer...

    Frizzen questions

For my eyes it seems frizzen is twisted, but maybe that is the way it was designed

    Poly-Patches

Yes, I will check them out and see what goes, will only try for target shooting, the only time I use this .36 for hunting is when I go Snowshoe Hare hunting, or Ground Hogs

    Poly-Patches

The person I got these from said he thinks his dad told him he used these as a wad underneath a patched ball, both styles, for protection of lube against powder, says he never shot maxi- balls. The round ball style has a cup on both sides, where as the maxi style has a cup on one side and flat...

    Poly-Patches

I have come across a few bags of these poly-patches by Butler Creek, for round ball and maxi ball for .36 rifle. Any body have any good, bad, or indifferent comments about their performance before I attempt the use of them.
