I just had no idea what he was referring to. Took bigstick's post for me to reach the ah ha moment...........I guess just the cool kids know all the acronyms.
If one knew what an RWS 1081 was in the first place.......... While I've used winged musket caps for decades I'd never heard of or knowingly used RWS.This being a muzzleloading forum, good chance OP is in reference to percussion musket caps. View attachment 89015
Nope. I've always used CCI back when I was doing Civ War reenacting, it was cheap and what most sutlers carried.I would have thought any one around guns for any length of time at one point would have heard of RWS gun products.
