Looked like a fun day.

I had a 15/16's CVA 50 bored out to 54 by RH, I like it better then the 1" CVA Big Bore, it balance's better not so muzzle heavy.

Just finishing a CVA , that I've done a total restore, and installed an L & R lock, take's time don't be in a rush. Lots of small adjustment's. But worth it. Look for thread Blondie here.

Easy fix, nipple out pack a little powder in blow it out keep shooting. We've all done it no matter what they say.

It's -17 below this am with a fresh 10" of snow, anyone up for a tripe to the range ???

I'll second the CVA mountain rifle, more of the plains era being cap rifle's, but good lines, they shoot, if you can find a Big Bore in 54, that's not been to beat. Or one of the early ones that's stamped Made USA, in 50. Good hunting rifle's.

Good shooting I to need to be out. And winter is coming back starting today, better grab your good socks.

When they sold to Bass Pro I was out, mirror shadow of there former self .

Thank you! I just finished Blondie's, I was thinking my eyes were going! I didn't take off as much as you did but makes a much better sight picture.

Sound like good advice, I wasn't getting as shape a sight, maybe this is it. Thanks.

I just went back in Oct. and hadn't been back for 20 yrs. Didn't recognize anything, THE PLANE WAS FULL OF UNFREINDLY AND UNHAPPY OHIOIAN'S it is another SH!!
