I have for your consideration a Large red Whitney capote 3 point size is Large 36”-42”. Features 1 large outer pocket with a smaller breast pocket. Features hand cut leather buckskin fringe on the arms and a leather buckskin welt in EVERY seam. Was sewn by hand with faux sinew using a double locking whip stitch. This capote will never come apart, it was very time consuming and this will be a one off capote as I’m not doing a leather welt again. Black wool yarn blanket stitching down the front with buckskin edging on sleeves and bottom of capote. Front closure features an antler horn button with buckskin leather loop closure. Antler was locally sourced from antler sheds in the woods around Bend, Oregon. Hood features a beaded thunderbird rosette. This is a genuine Whitney blanket, very thick and warm. For size reference I’m 5ft 11 inches and 185 pounds, it fits me comfortable with room to spare. This blanket is extra thick, I don’t see any wind coming through.
