    Danger of rapid firing?

Didn't someone just post a 500 yard gong shot with a long rifle?

    Danger of rapid firing?

Well from the majority of the comments here I think I'm just going to fore go doing this activity, my fingers have too much to do in this life still.

    Danger of rapid firing?

I have cartridges, I would not be pouring or measuring powder in any way from a source. I believe they are 60-70g charges

    Danger of rapid firing?

I there, I have a Blunderbuss, and as many know one of the hall mark feature is the flared muzzle for easier loading on a stage coach or navy ship that is in motion. As a fun activity I wanted to fire and load it as if I were in a stressful encounter that the blunderbuss was made to be used in...

Blunderbuss, 1777 French carbine, English trade gun advice....????!!??

I have a French Blunderbuss from Veteran arms, and yeah the barrel is hard to clean a bit because what fits snuggly at the breach is loose at the muzzle, so swabbing is a bit of a PITA on consistency. I also wouldn't consider it light per se, but its small and a blast to shoot. The shot spread...

    NMLRA fighting

Something more East could be more accessible to a lot of people including myself from Florida. Friendship is a 12hr+ drive from north Florida, anyone in the south FL could be as much as 18 hours.

If FedEx stops delivering Black Powder…

At that rate I would just make some home made powder, yikes! A little charcoal, stump remover, and garden sulfur crystals go a long way.

If FedEx stops delivering Black Powder…

Its okay, looking at the prices, they are not even worth it unless you are buying in the 25lb range anyways, even then its on par with other stores. At 5lb, its not worth it at all.

I need a recommendation for professional grade gunsmith screwdrivers

Personally I've lost a screwdrivers way before any quality issues come to light so I like to keep it on the cheap. Maybe one day I'll get a good work setup where I can keep my tools in one place.

If FedEx stops delivering Black Powder…

The US is way too big and way too few carriers of BP for this to be viable. Unless we are paying like $200 for delivery. They are sold out of all 2F and 3F except for Swiss 3F. Are we looking at a different site?

One Hurting Pedersoli Rifle comes back to life........

I'll probably never buy a LH gun, maybe an ambidextrous unmentionable, but I enjoy letting people fire my guns and since I can handle it both ways, I wouldn't want to shut everyone out just to make a it a little easier on myself. :) Keep up the videos!

One Hurting Pedersoli Rifle comes back to life........

I'm a relatively younger guy, and I actually discovered I had cross dominance after a while. Quickly switched to shooting left handed to match my left eye dominance, and I found things to be much easier then shooting with my dominate hand. Shooting lefty on a bolt action always makes people...

SOLD 53 lbs Lead Ingots SOLD!

Darn if I didn't just buy 300 round ball this would have been a good time to start to get into casting. Seems like RB is easier to get a hold of than powder nowadays.

I hope our friends in Louisiana and Mississippi are safe

I'll be driving out in a few days to provide support for the restoration company I work with. From what I'm hearing it's pretty rough.

    Kibler Smooth?

Why are you going for a smoothbore over a rifle? Motivations for choice and why you want the gun will help people give good advice. I know Kibler is soon to be releasing a Fowler piece which by its nature is a smoothbore shotgun type, which might be better than the colonial which is designed...

    I have a stuck bullet

Awesome video, but I dare I ask how would you accomplish this with a flintlock without the threads that the percussion includes. I don't see that grease tip working on a touch hole. Let the games begin again!

    First Flinter?

Are you asking Jim or the other staff? I emailed Jim about something and he gave me a very personable response with detail in like 2 days. Next time I emailed him I had no response until I called the number provided on his website, and the lady read the email and helped, I email her from now...
