Stand up brass tube flask, safe on shooting bench?

I have a .38 special cartridge that fits on the spout,if I remember to put it on.Like you said the gate on the "Safety" valve sticking open could be a problem.

Stand up brass tube flask, safe on shooting bench?

This may sound like a stupid question, but I want to make sure.I just got a brass tube stand up powder flask. It has a spout and a cutoff valve. Is it safe from errant sparks while shooting with it on the bench, being it has the cutoff valve? I always load from a measure, and know it is not a good...

    T/C .45 Hawken Rifle Values

Cult following or what, where are you going to find a Black Powder rifle for $200-400 these days. And I keep seeing these digs about TC quality, the early ones had premium walnut stocks, fit and finish was perfect. With at the time a lifetime warranty, how could you go wrong. As thousands and thousands...

    TC New Englander advice

Yup! .495 and my .50 Hawken do not mix well. When I got the rifle new,the gun shop owner gave me .495 balls.I darn near gave up on the whole muzzle loader deal because of the beating those balls down the barrel. Finally figured out they made smaller balls, life is good LOL!

    Help me identify Sight

Nope the ladder sight did not come with the front target sight. That was just another TC accessory you could buy.

    lyman plains pistol advice

All 3 of my Lyman guns have a gap between the bolster and the lockplate. In Lyman's instructions for putting a kit gun together they say there should be a gap.Not a big gap but, just a little clearance around the bolster. And if you are going to file,I would file the lockplate not the bolster.Mine...

Rear Sight on Lyman GPR is loose

Stupid question, but do you lay the socket sideways on the dovetail or stand it upright?
  20. P

    Attach tip to ramrod.

JB or epoxy it,and pin it.Don't put it on loose and pin it.Take care of your TC ramrod, the originals are pricey.
