Your post was so good & 100% on point that I had to come back & read it for a second time. And both times left me sitting here shakin my head with “ he!! Yeah “ both times. Well said sir.

Good score, awesome post. I appreciate your sense of humor & I share your fondness for a good micro brew as well

    Check your wally world..

Exactly, thank you for your post. I absolutely can't stand that kind of narrowminded thinking & the childish names some use for guns they don't like or powders they don't like, ie; calling guns abominations & abortions & unmentionables & fake powder. Its really ridiculous to see grown men acting...

Got my barrel from Bobby Hoyt

Heck yeah, I'm abit surprised at that turn around time myself. Last time I talked to Bob he said he was backed up well over 6 months

I loved visiting England & riding Harleys across it, even in June, but I'd never ever want to live there. I'm sorry you have to deal with all that. I appreciate your sense of humor.

Thats what I absolutely love about a .40 is, depending on your barrel twist you can send long heavy bullets at very long ranges very accurately, and, shoot light, fast, flat shooting bullets of many types extremely accurately. The .40 is extremely versatile. You can hunt squirrels to elk with it...

When you're squirrel huntin with your .40, do you try & head shoot them or " Bark " them? Are you using PRB's or conicals?

PPL's inability to see most things from more than one perspective is a big problem regarding this " Hoarding " subject IMHO. I use to shoot just between trap/skeet/sporting clays, around 8k 12ga rounds a yr. Thats not including all the hunting of multiple species that I regularly did. Sooooo, is...

Yessir! It’s just another manipulative BS way to create revenue through excessive unnecessary regulations. I don’t want to get political, but we as muzzleloader hunters need to stop tolerating these kind of ppl making these kind of regs for us & have what’s there now repealed. I don’t care what...

    Everything .40 Cal. Muzzleloader

FYI- deer, massive hogs, cattle, horses, ALL can be DROPPED in their tracks with a .22. Even a .40 roundball shot with real BP with a velocity of 1400-1600fps with good shot placement can easily drop a deer inside 100yds. Sooooo that rule is 100% BS Out to 50yds even a .32 roundball will drop...

    Everything .40 Cal. Muzzleloader

Exactly, that’s why this thread was created for everyone that has & shoots the .40 cal’s to show pics, share loads & bullet data & their shooting & hunting experiences with them in as much detail as they want to get into. The more the merrier.

Good true operating load for pietta 1860 .44

I wouldn’t use 2F powder in it & stick with 3F at 20gr on the low end & 30gr on the top end.

Then start changing who you let make & enforce those rules & have them all repealed.

    How do you eat them

Yessssss, I prefer adding ham to that mix, but a good country sausage will suffice as well.
