I'm going to look it over over any markings. I just found picture of one the the spout looks exactly the same except on a round horn instead of flat.. Attached pic. it was dated 1761. I can't be that lucky for only $120 bucks.

the exit hole to load is closed with nozzle straight, you then pour forward and fill just the center round cell. so you're right that you can reduce load by looking into it. then when you turn it 90 degrees to the side it opens to pour. much easier pouring at that angle. It's a nice size load...

I have to keep a closer eye on here. I missed this and it's hard enough for us left handed guys to find a nice rifle like that at a nice price. and only 7.5 pounds. if it didn't go, let me know.

I found two that might work. both have matching garters as well. The green is 3" wide and 124" end to end of fringe and 114" knot to knot. The Brown one is exact same length as green but on 2.5" wide. Both garter's same length 51" total length and 44 from knot to knot about 1 1/8" wide.

I actually may have a few. What are you looking for with width and length. I know I have a few very nice ones I haven't used.

on your measurements, I'd assume that's laying flat and only to the seam not the fringe?
