How well does it work? Any problems caused by the hooked breech? Trying to decide whether to get the fiber optic sites or go with a tang site. Any help will be appreciated.

Sell the 4 wheel. Buy the rifle. Prices all over the board. I paid 400 several years ago for one I liked in almost mint. Saw a good .54 with scope and mount for 180 last week. Cash is more liquid.

Local shops have been out of cap for a month or so. The only shop that has gotten any in has CCI #11 magnum caps. The shop owner says that is all he orders because they are the best to use. I will be shooting a .50 with PRB and conicals and triple seven. Is the magnum cap a good match here?

Has anyone tried the adaptor nipple to use 209 primers in a sidelock. I have a new TC Hawken. I ordered an adaptor to try, but it won't be here for a week or so. Anybody tried one?
