    TVM pictures?

It was so easy it was scary! I've told people this and I can see the disblief in their eyes. But... I promise this is true. The first time I brought it to the range I had decided to start at 30gr of FFF just to see where it printed on paper. I put the target out to about 40...

    CVA squirrel rifle 32 cal

Jerry, I have that CVA .32 and a .36 flintlock long rifle. For me I love the long rifle. Like I said the CVA is very accurate but the long rifle is accurate at longer distances. Most likely because it has a 42" barrel. That plus a little heavier bullet. Dunno.... It's a toss up but if...

    Remington vs Colt?

I own and shoot both the 1860 colt and 1858 Remington. Personally I prefer the 1860. It feels better and I like the way it looks better than then the Remington. All personal preference. I will say that the 1858 is easier to shoot right out the box. The 1860's take a bit of work to be totally...

    Cross pinning ramrod tip

I just finished making my first ramrod which isn't as easy as I thought..... after this one, the next will be a bit easier. I bought the blank and tip from TOW. Anyway to my question.... What do you use for the pin? I thought of a piece of a paper clip cut and glued in then filed...

    stripped screw hole in stock

The toothpick trick is the best. I've used it many times and it works great. Put some wood glue on the toothpick and push it in the hole. Wait for it to dry then just put the screw in. No need to drill anything.
