Bought a Hawken off armslist yesterday. It belonged to the sellers father in law who had passed. Came with 50 and 45 barrels. Nice little inlay on both sides. It was well done. It’s been shot a good bit, but not abused.

I normally use a wooden range rod. I’ve made a couple with parts ordered from track of the wolf.

You’ll like it, even if it’s a kit gun.
