SPP in place of Percussion Caps

So I made up some small pistol primer adaptors to try out. Not my idea, saw it on youtube. They fit and work perfect. I now keep some primers in my range box.

My new to me T/C .36 Cal.

Took her for a test drive this morning. Only fired about 10 rounds at 25yds. 30 and 40gr. of 777 fff, .350 rb Tried .018 ticking but was so tight I was worried the ball would get stuck Part way down. Switched to a .013-.015 and easy loading. Had two seperate groups going, 3" apart but elevation...

My new to me T/C .36 Cal.

I guess this is a pre Seneca? Since it does not say Seneca on it. Have not shot it yet, but soon. I love the feel of the little rifle, balances percent. Bore is great for the first 3/4. Got #11 caps?

I was Very well stocked, but thought I was getting out of muzzleloading and sold almost everything. But the Holy Black sucked me back in. Picked up an excellent T/C Hawken in 36 cal. Then a Miroku Hawken in 50 cal.

Closest one to me that has stock is 110 miles away in Reno. Which I am going there but not until next week.

    Got #11 caps?

Right now I have zero caps. Only ones I found local, the guy wanted $15 a tin and they were very old. Looks like I'll be using some Small Pistol Primers .

New to me Miroku Hawken (Help)

Thanks for the help. A friend had a TC lock for me to try. It will work with just a tad of wood removed. So I will check on ebay for a TC lock. Unless someone here has a good for sale that's not to expensive. Thanks again.
