New to me Miroku Hawken (Help)

Just picked up a pretty clean Miroku 50 cal.
However, the lock work is broke.
I believe it is the sear and tumbler. Any idea where to get these parts. I can't any info.

Probably a good idea to look for suitable replacement lock.

Looks very similar to a T/C lock. You might try the gun works emporium. They have parts for T/C and Lyman locks. You might be able to make them work.

Looks just like a TC Renegade lock....

You can send them a tracing of the lock plate and they can tell you if they have one that will fit. That is what i did.

A friend had a TC lock for me to try.
It will work with just a tad of wood removed.
So I will check on ebay for a TC lock. Unless someone here has a good for sale that's not to expensive.

Try the gun works as said earlier, also try Classic firearms & parts-- cfnparts.com they both have some parts. Good luck with whatever you decide to do. If you go with an L&R lock you will need to remove some wood from the lock recess because it uses a V spring which sits deeper in the recess.

Thats what I was thinking. I see those on EBay for sale all the time. I saw one just a few days ago when I bought my investarms barrel.
