    Pietta big bucks ?

I understand supply and demand. I understand the lack of availability of many models of bp arms. I even understand how vendors prices have gone up in recent months given the lack of availbility. I get it. But dosen't this seem a little high ? https://www.gunbroker.com/item/895514472

    Lets see some percussion revolvers!

Here's an 1860 Army which is about as old as you are, 70yrs! It was made by Replica Arms Co NJ in 1952, the action is as smooth and tight as a fine watch and it shoots to point of aim at 25ft. It has natually aged over the years and it might be my fav percussion revolver of them all.

Is this 1858 an original "real deal?"

What gets me more than anything is how blatant he is. He knows that anyone who knows anything about these guns will sooner or later spot the fakery, and in a number of ways. But he doesn't care. Because he also knows there's no penalty to be paid for posting a fraud. Amazing.

Is this 1858 an original "real deal?"

I have to agree. And his pictures aren't really helpful. This is not an original gun in any way.

Early Lyman 1858 Remington made by Uberti ?

Thanks Jim, very helpful info, am glad I posted here. I have to say I wish I were a better amateur gunsmith on these cap and ball revolvers, seems like it’s a requirement.

Early Lyman 1858 Remington made by Uberti ?

Am looking at an early 70's Lyman Middlefield Conn. 1858 Remington revolver, was Lyman made by Uberti in the early 70's ? The bottom of the barrel is marked "DGG" I'm asking because I wouldn't want to buy a Lyman 1858 Remington revolver I couldn't find parts for if needed.
