How thin can we go on a patch before you really need to look and a smaller diameter ball? Has anyone found anything in the .010" range that will hold up? Yeah I realize that the OP is trying .010" patches but it sounds like they are a bit of a sloppy fit. What if .014" and a .490" ball is too...

Gonna go with the target I posted in Longhunters vs Aliens.... that was the first 3 shots out of the barrel this evening and the outlier was shot #3... I too see to be able to lay 2 out of 3 in there... probably won't have time to make more smoke before Friday....

SO I went out to the range today... Figured that I would shoot the rocks vs caps target at 25 yards before time ran out and then maybe shoot some fun practice.... I took my younger daughter with me and was really shooting good but it felt like I was being watched. Well, did you ever have a 9yr...

I cut the slot into the pins on Patience... captured pins, not losing or swapping them. If they get loose I give the center of the lug a light whack with a light brass hammer.

So..... I planned a "range day" this afternoon for my two girls and myself.... I gathered up my rock lock, the unmentionable gun, my basket of BP range stuff, a couple .22rf's for my daughters, my older daughters shotgun, my clay bird thrower, the bunch of other range specific goodies targets...

Gentlemen (and I use that term very loosely).... without my glasses I can't see well enough to tell IF I have sights at all..... :surrender:

Zonie, Not doubting you, but I gotta ask where you got your numbers.... Being a HP and LR shooter I like ballistic numbers.. haha :thumbsup: But 19MOA for a full value 5mph wind... WOW!
