    Yeah, years ago I had a kentucky, a zouave .58, a Colt conversion I converted myself, and an 1858. They all were lost when our home burnt down. I got a target BP pistol after that and it was stolen. After that I kind of just gave up. So it's been 20 years since I've BP'd. I sure loved that ol'...

    Forgot how fun

    Went out shooting the Uberti 1858 I got for my birthday today. First time shooting in lot's of years. Forgot how fun it was. The smoke, the smell, the slow recoil....the boooooom....and even the cleanup :v edit: the first time black powder shooting that is :)

    Yep, we live 12 miles from the Stronghold. A piece of the old Applegate trail runs through one of our farms and we border Bloody Point where a massacre of a wagon train took place.

    Howdy there. Another noobie named Jim. I live in far Northern California Cascades. Been shooting black powder for 45 years but got out for awhile. Back into it now because of a birthday present of a Remington New Army (knockoff) and a little more leisure time.
