Pietta 1858 New Army Revolver .44 Cal 8" barrel

That makes sense I do a complete teardown every time and the only screw to ever be loose is on the loading arm.

    1858 truck gun.

I have been edc a 58 out of curiosity and am surprised by the reliability. Very dry here so that probably helps but I have let cylinders sit for months and not had any ftf.

Call them and they will probably give you a return. I had a issue with a uberti 1849 and they offered me a return on the phone. I didn't return it just fixed the issue myself to be done with it.

Powder Inc. doing a little price gouging?

Got Got it as a aid for the wife but the base is too small and the arm is too short for it to be of any use. I could barley seat a ball with it as was she couldn't at all. Screwed it to a piece of wood and added a extension to the arm and it works ok now. Slapped one together out of scrap wood...

Powder Inc. doing a little price gouging?

Ask them why they only print the five star reviews as well. Been a shady company in my book for a while now. I purchased a v2 loading press and left a 3 star review they refuse to publish.

Anyone get a Pietta G&G Clone from this most recent batch?

I have never had to sign for a pistol from Midway ups leaves them on the porch if we aren't home but we live in a high trust area. Also I had Midway on the phone over a 1849 that was broken when I opened the box and they offered me a return so perhaps they will.

    A question about pyrodex

"A common substitute is Pyrodex®, which has an ignition temperature of approximately 750 °F and is regulated as a Class B flammable solid." Time for some reality..........ffs.

    A question about pyrodex

I prefer the pyrodex and t7 in revolvers over black powder for a variety of reasons. 😆
