Looking for some input on an Investarms .36 Hawken Santa Fe rifle..........

My cabella's invertarms 50 weighs 9.1 pounds. The Investarms Santa Fe hawken weighs 6 ounces more which makes sense it's the exact same parts just a smaller bore so more steel left to carry.

I have to rethink the spare cylinder idea

This subject got me curious about the reality of ranchwork and carrying a full size Remington clone so I started trying it. A pita on my belt even with suspenders constantly having to stop and adjust a definite hassle. Switched to a well fitting shoulder rig and its pretty much a nonissue for...

    .36 small game rifle

If it means that much to you we are gonna try the day after xmas and I will get some pics for you. I hate stopping shooting to film and pose makes me feel goofy. 😆 If there were any actual issues I would be squawking.

    Cast vs. Swaged

I would run a bunch of both through some calipers and a scale. I was kind of surprised by the results of that. I prefer cast just for cost alone and they are more consistent.

    .36 small game rifle

I would saythe lack of complaints is something in itself. Way more likey to see posts bitching about a issue than saying its all good. I bought one from Muzzle-Loaders.com and its a great rifle out the box. I don't feel any need to make a video about it doesn't mean its bad.

    Too much trouble.....

I tried that as well and still the same issue. When I don't use paper I don't have ftf so I don't use paper any more.

Looking for some input on an Investarms .36 Hawken Santa Fe rifle..........

    .36 small game rifle

Got one for the wife and she loves it. Shoots very nice at 50 yards with 30 grains and a .35 patched ball. A couple minor finish issues but functions perfectly.

Florida has some oddball gun laws so know where you are discharging your gun you don't want to be inside of a limited area.

seeking ACTUAL users of Remington 1858 and Accurate Molds 45-200S and 45-225L

I have settled on roundballs and kerrs in my 44s and the colt conical in the 36s. Huge chambers on the 1858 navy easily takes 35 grains on powder.
