    Does anyone in MS / AL sell real black powder?

    I cant speak for nowhere but N.W. Alabama but around here there is none that I know of. Even Bass Pro has quit selling or so i have been told. I wouldnt buy there anyway at 24 bucks a pound. Do like me an get it delivered to the front door. Link below http://www.powderinc.com/

    I have both A an B in 40 cal 38 inch barrels. Both shoot really good but the B feels quite a bit heavier but of course it should due to more metal an a tad more wood to cover it on the forestock.     Load for a .44 cal 1851 Navy

    I have a friend that has a brass frame 36 cal that he has shot full power loads in for yrs an his is still going strong. I would shoot it an not worry bout it.

    Bob Harn has passed on

    Just thought I would let you know that gun builder Bob Harn has passed on. I never had the pleasure of meeting or knowing the man but I did get to handle a couple of his rifles at the Alabama show an they were very well built guns an had the look. Condolences to the family. May he rest in peace

    Leaving Powder in horns

    All my horns are air tight so I leave powder in them yr round. Been doing this 40 yrs with no problems so far.

    I bought a whole bolt of good ole fashion blue stripe mattress ticking from a mom an pop fabric store that has since went out of business. Really thick stuff. Works great

    Anyone have dealt with pecatonica river kits

    I have dealt with them 4 maybe 5 times over a several yr period. Great folks to deal with an every piece of wood I bought from them was a better piece than they described to me. If I needed something that they had I would not hesitate for one second to deal with them :thumbsup:
