    Too much trouble.....

You can’t buy nitrated cigarette papers, buts is easy enough to make with potassium nitrate and water. Just dip the paper in and hang it to dry. I’ve used coffee filters and now I use papers used for perming your hair. Not your hair specifically but hair in general!

    Too much trouble.....

I use those also but I dip mine in a solution of potassium nitrate and water and let them dry. They burn much quicker and better and leave no paper in the cylinders after you shoot them.

Where to find real 32 Caliber soft lead Ball for the tiny BP Revolvers

I just checked online and log cabin shop and track of the wolf both have .323 roundball available. Track of the wolf I also has .319 and .320. That should give a whole lotta love to your .31 calibers!

Where to find real 32 Caliber soft lead Ball for the tiny BP Revolvers

Ok I’m going to ramblin on, sing my song. I have some I bought that are either .321 or .323 diameter. Unfortunately I’m away for a couple days. And I can’t remember where I bought them! They come in a little cloth bag with a drawstring that much I remember. Not sure if I have the info anyway but...

    Rogers & Spencer review

I’m with you on the hammer. On one hand it has a very short distance to cock but somebody should develop a thumb extension you can wear to reach the hammer spur! I guess if I was not concerned with keeping the gun stock I would consider cutting bending and rewelding the spur to make it easier to...

    Rogers & Spencer review

I have a stainless euroarms and I’ve only taken it out once so far and it shot great. Very comfortable and a heavy duty well made gun. As mentioned above parts are a problem, but they are rugged parts so likely to last a long time. Having worked in manufacturing for years I’m pretty sure I could...

    chamber sealant

I just buy beeswax and melt it and mix in some olive oil. Adjust to consistency you like. Others use lambs tallow instead of olive oil. Others have different formulas using beeswax as a base.

where can i buy used black powder revolvers?

I would look on here for a used gun. If your only option is a black powder firearm for carry I would look for a Remington 1858 in 44 caliber. They are reasonably reliable and easy to cut down for concealed carry. Here is a photo of one cut down.

For the Want of a Wire Coat Hanger

I used to use them as divining rods when surveying to find existing underground water lines. Years ago I even saw the water company on Sanibel Island using them to mark out the existing water lines. When the two L shaped hangers crossed he would paint a line on the ground at that location.

Are The Italian Black Powder Manufacturers Going to Go out Of Business?

I’m a little leery of this shortage happening. I recently checked both Dixie and Midway and they seem to have more supply, at least as far as revolvers than I remember seeing in the last couple years. Some of the prices seem to be a bit less on some of them also. At this time I haven’t been into...
