    Hello, I took the rear sight off for a Buckhorn with a flat base. I used the existing hole and screw and drilled a second hole. I think I would prefer to cut a dovetail but I was not sure to do it as well as it need. Michel.

    Is it the T/C Hawken ? Which diameter round ball and patch thickness? Strangely the T/C owner's manual say to use a .440 RB and a load between 50 and 100 grains of FFg. I think FFg is to coarse for a .45".

    seized touch-hole liner

    Thanks a lot to all of you. It seems the opinion of the majority is not to remove the vent liner and clean it up after each shooting session but only when it needs a replacement. From now it is my new philosophy...less useless work !!! Thanks again. Uncle Grizz.
