I have a set of RCBS blocks ina pair of Lyman handles and they work fine.

I also have a set of lyman blocks in rcbs handles.
Never thoufgt to change them, they all came as they are!

That would depend on what kind of LEE handles you have.

The LEE handles that come with the aluminum molds have the molds pinned to the handles with non-removable pins. These wouldn't work with other companies loose mold blocks.

I have a set of LEE "COMMERCIAL HANDLES" that came without any mold attached and are made for use with the molds made by other companies.
I currently have a set of LYMAN blocks attached to them for casting Parker-Hale Minie' bullets.

To add to Zonie's info - and he is quite correct - I had an old Lee mould (dual cavity, 230gn LRN) that I don't use any longer.

I had a set of mould blocks for my Kentucky in .440" that needed mould handles.

I took the pins out. It was easy enough - just had to pick a bit of aluminum out of the way.

The problem came when I went to fit it up. I had to drill out the holes in the handles one size.

If I ever want to return the .45acp mould to its original state, all I will have to do is put the handles back in the blocks, insert the pins and us a punch to move some aluminum over to hold the pins in. I've had to do that before to factory pins that wanted to fall out - they were not staked well from the factory.

It boils down to "how much work do you want to go through?"

Josh
