    In response to why anyone would want to load a spare cylinder or have 2, I use mine for Civil War Re-enactment so I usually only shoot blanks, however it is convenient when I go to the range to have 2 cylinders loaded, without the caps attached. I only put on the caps when I'm ready to shoot.

    I got a spare cylinder for my Uberti 36 New Model at Cabela's and had to file down the cylinder before it would work. After filing it down, it works like a charm, however you have to re-blue the front edge of the cylinder. The Cabelas spares do work but may require some filing to fit the piece.

    Thanks for all of the good advice, I finally got frustrated and bought a cylinder from Cabela's and took the file to it, I had to file down the cylinder to fit, I was able to do that and it works great, however it is not blued but I will leave it that way to be able to tell the cylinders apart...
