    1851 Navy for me too! Favored by Hickok, Cody, Holliday and MANY more notible men. There's a reason it was made for over 20 years and only outsold by the pocket models.

    Nicely done! I really like how dark your barrel turned out. It almost looks black on my little screen. I was going to order a 40 in cherry recently but went with a 45 maple. Now you've got me rethinking that decision!

    Tremendous! If it was the 1770's and you were buying new it would cost you about L8 or 3-4 month's salary. If you sell this for less than 3 month's wages, someone will get a bargain!

    Welcome! There's nothing wrong if you want to start small. My first Flintlock was a Hawken from Cabela's for less than $300. I wasn't sure if I would like it. I had been shooting Caplocks before then.
