    Pillow ticking patches

    Currently using three rivers unlimited patchlube and solvent. Have use moose juice. Thinking of switching to Dutch method, but three rivers blue stuff is working good.

    Checked wood. Trigger not hitting any wood. Has good clearance. Can get hammer to drop if I pull front trigger way back. Will not drop hammer if I set rear trigger and then pull front trigger. Tried it with both deerslayer triggers(ordered 2, 2 is one,one is none). Factory T/C trigger works...

    It is front trigger. Will check and see if it hit any wood in am. It acts like it doesn't engage the lock. I will keep you posted.

    Adding R.E. Davis deerslayer trigger to my T/C Renegade. Enlarged mortise for screw of set spring. Cannot get trigger to set off hammer. Anyone else have same problem and what is solution.? Trigger is a great improvement over stock. Thanks in advance

    What oil in the bore after cleaning?

    Bore butter has worked for me. Never a problem with rust. I just use Hot tap water and simple green to clean. And dry barrel and bore butter the heck out of it.

    New barrel

    Got T/C round ball barrel with 1/16th ivory bead front sight. Put on Renegade. Now my 54 is a 50. Installed T/C peep sight. Went to range yesterday and man can that barrel shoot. Looking forward to our club shoot in October. Does anyone know if there are different inserts for the peep sight...

    Trapper pistol stock

    I have a traditions trapper .50 with laminated wood stock A slip on the bench and the "horn" on the back of grip broke off a small chunk. And of course could not find it in dirt. Anyone else have the same problem? And do you think I could just round it off?

    Does anyone know of a holster for a Traditions Trapper? Got my pistol a couple of weeks ago and it shoots great with 20gr FFF .490 ball .015 patch.
