    i had one with the 1-20 twist and at 40 yards my son and i were shooting at an 18 in pizza box and we could not hit it at all using round balls. he switched to maxie balls and actually started shooting thru the same hole at 40yds. my son has it now and it still looks new

    thanks for all the replies. i have never had a misfire yet but was just thinking i might want to try a musket nipple. i have had my gpr rifle for several years and truly love it. thanks again
