    Evapo-rust. Takes the rust off, does not etch the steel. Needs the item to be soaked in solution. Safe to use. If the rust has etched the steel it will show when the rust is gone.

    I picked these up at a gun show yesterday. On the box it was marked: 50 cal. "Ball-etts", unsized, unlubed and dated 4-3-1985. The ball dia is .502, Height is .513 and the stems dia. is .460. Anyone have thoughts about them. [/img] [/img]

    Loading Round Balls

    It seems with an uneven leading surface the flight pattern could be changed. I wonder if anyone has ever test this. With the extra weight in the rear, I would think this would stabilize it.

    I have notice that some say when loading round ball is to loading them with the spruce facing up. It seems that this may disrupt its flight pattern or does it really matter?
