what PEEP sight would you suggest???
I like the TC peep. The Lyman is a big ol' bulky thing that kinda looks out of place on a sidelock (just IMHO). The TC doesn't draw nearly as much attention to itself. Both are great sights though. TM- Blue Moose

I saw a few examples of "PC" peep sights in Ohio..
I really like the simple Spence-style tang peep from TOW and Log Cabin. Unfortunately, I have a hooked breach so I'd have to remove the sight every time I remove the barrel. Soooo...I believe I'm going to Home Depot and sort through thumbscrews:). I'm not interested in being period correct or...- Blue Moose

Peep sight for Lyman Trade Rifle
Chet: After pricing the Vernier, I think the cap "E" in "Expensive would be appropriate;). However, there were some other options @ the Track site like the TC, which is exactly what I'm looking for...I'm going to call and see if it'll fit my rifle without any drilling. I'm a big fan of peep sights and would love to put one on my new Trade Rifle. However, I'd like something more traditional than the Lyman receiver sight...more like the tang sight they make for lever rifles.
