Opinions on Pietta 1851 Confederate Navy revolver?

I have a brass frame Remmy that got loose. I silver soldered a piece of Steel shim stock on the back inside of the frame, That took all the slop out of it. It's easy to do on a Remmy. Dave

WITHDRAWN Rear sight for Zoli 1841 "Mississippi" rifle

If you are looking for the "Tombstone" type, meaning the simple small metal one, that you drift side to side for windage,,,,,,, They can be made very easy with a piece of "bar stock", or upside down "T" bar. Just file the piece to make it fit your dovetail, make it 3/8th in tall, and file a "V"...

    TRU-OIL problem

I use Min-Wax Spar Urethane, in the green spay can. You can get it in clear gloss, clear semi gloss, and satin gloss. Any of these will give a good looking protective coat. I use BC stock filler/sealer as my starting base coat sealer. After that I do one coat a day with the Spar Urethane, rubbed...

    forearm strengthening pro bed 2000

I havn't used Probed 2000, but I have used Acra-glass to glass bed some BBLs. It works really good, and is very strong, and lubricant resistant. Oil, and cleaners don't touch it. I would think if PRO-BED 2000 is fiberglass that it would be a good BBL base. Dave

    FLAT POWER HORNS

Few years ago I bought a small flat horn. I think it was from Crazy Crow. Well yesterday I was looking it over, and found, that it was solid all the way thru. I couldn't even drill it to get access to the interior. I guess you can make them to flat, LOL. Dave
