    Does anybody make a cleaning brush that cleans the bottom of the barrel. I guess it would be something like an end brush all the brushes I have the metal sticks out on the end and they really don't clean the very bottom seat...thank you

    Bayonet for your alarms Zouave

    Thank you..My Euroarms Zouave has a bayonet attachment on it. I just don't know which bayonet would fit this.Will probably try the Dixiearms version.

    I shot it today and finaly got a group going.The sights are very crude and hard for me to see.I ended up shooting 70 grns 2f,priming with 4f and a .440 ball.This was my first try with a flintlock.Took a little getting used too.I had drilled my touchhole to 5/64.I stuck a feather in touchhole...

    Thanks everyone.I am glad I checked here first.It is also good to hear I can use 2f in the bore.I have some of it left over from when I used to shoot percussion.I went to Cains muzzleloader in West Virginia and they didn't have any 3f either.Seems to be hard to come by.....Joe

    I cannot get any 3f.I have some 2f,is that what I should use?Why would 3f not be available at a Muzzy shoot as big as the Friendship shoot anyway?....Joe

    :confused: I have had trouble getting powder.I had a friend going to the Friendship shoot.I asked him to pick up a can of 3f powder for my flintlock.He said he couldn't get any 3f and brought me some 4f.He was told most of the flintlock shooters use 4f. What is the prefered powder for a .45...

    Trigger adjustment?

    Thanks guys.I will get it out tommorrow and look at it.This trigger lock scares me.The fire trigger actually went off with the set trigger when the gun was loaded.It is really hairy right now...Joe

    I have a used flintlock.I believe it was made by Deer Creek.I need to know how to adjust the trigger pull.There are two very small set screws on it.What does each of these screws adjust....Thank you..Joe
