    Isopropyl or de-natured alcohol?

    Careful of your wood if you use de-natured. I have found it will remove and destroy some types of finish.Isopropyl works for me. Dave :winking:

    electric one burner.............

    I tried that a few years ago when i first started casting.It worked great for a while.Eventually the element in the burner got to where it wouldn't keep the mix melted. I would suggest buying one of the Lee production pots instead.They are not that expensive and if you decide to quit casting you...

    Shuetzen cast steel buttplate

    I want to attach one to my TC Renegade.I have one from TOW and wonder if it would stay put with overnight epoxy.Or is that a bad idea and something better left to a smith? I can manage shaping the stock to fit properly but have no drill press to use for holedrilling.Thanks.

    Why 1-48

    Why do some barrel manufacturers make their 40cal and under 1-48 and then a 45cal at 1-60 and up from there.What is it about smaller calipers that they would want a faster twist for roundball?
