    Lets see some percussion revolvers!

New Uberti 3rd model Dragoon, this one is dated 2021 got it from Midway last month. I noticed right out of the the box the arbor is the right length and Johnston and Dow bullets fit with no mods, maybe the Italians are starting to pay attention, at least maybe Uberti

    Lets see some percussion revolvers!

1860 Army made by ASM in 1990 and sold by CVA, this is one of the good ASM revolvers, so far

    Pietta Dance and Brothers

Appreciate the information, now I just have to decide if it is cost effective, probably not but that hasn't stopped me in the past.

    Pietta Dance and Brothers

I bought this a couple weeks ago, still new in box and unfired, I was really excited until I handled it some. I did not realize that this pistol is based on the 51 Navy frame, which has always been too small for my sasquatch hands. Only revolvers that fit my hands well are the 60 Army, Remington...

    Mystery 40 cal rifle

Lockplate is marked G. Golcher, but I just saw on TOW website that they sell repo locks marked like this, I think it was just aged, it's a nice rifle seems to be well made by someone with some skills.

    Mystery 40 cal rifle

I bought this 40 about a month ago, my pics don't do it justice today as it is cloudy and cold outside. Very pretty curly maple stock, it was missing the rear sight when I bought it and I am just about done with the replacement, I went with a buckhorn style, just waiting on the browning to cure...

    Pedersoli 69 caliber musket?

    That's a nice musket!

    Pedersoli 69 caliber musket?

I tried a magnet on the bands, it sticks, so must be steel under the plating, I realize it's not historically accurate but I paid a ridiculous price for this musket and 3 other bp guns, couldn't pass it up. Thanks for all the info, I'll just consider it a Charleville-ish musket and enjoy the...

    Pedersoli 69 caliber musket?

    Pedersoli 69 caliber musket?

Thank you, no longer unfired, I put 10 rounds down range today, got some work to do to figure out a load it likes.

    Pedersoli 69 caliber musket?

I don't think Prussian, too many small differences, barrel bands, bayonet lug, rear sling swivel. Plus it's marked 17.5 mm on the barrel which is .689, one if my 69 round balls just slides in the bore.

    Pedersoli 69 caliber musket?

Bought this one couple weeks ago unfired, date code is CF which I think makes it 2011 production. But I can't figure out which model it is, not quite Aunstrian 1798, not quite Charleville, not quite 1795 U.S., I figured someone here would know, thanks

Got a new (to me) flintlock smoothbore...

Looks like a winner to me, I have been wanting a big bore flinter like that for a while, would make a good hog gun.

    36 barrel

Also there are no maker marks on it anywhere, just what looks like a serial number on bottom of the tang.

    36 barrel

Believe it or not I have cleaned it  , no idea what it came from, it was just a barrel when I got it A halfstock rifle would be cool, guess I need to find a stock first, and a build book would be a good start.Looks like it is 3/8 across the flat Where is the best place for stocks?

    36 barrel

So I have this barrel I got in a gun deal, about 33 inches, bore looks good, has one rough spot about 3/4 of the way to the breech but I can't see it with bore light. It seems to be smoothing up using some JB on it, so I am thinkin I would like to build something out of this, my experience thus...
